Overview
Stran Technologies’s Gen XP Receptacle is designed for use in ATEX and IECex rated areas. The Gen XP provides a rugged and reliable optical solution for harsh environments with potentially explosive atmospheres. We listened to the demands of our Oil and Gas customers to carefully design, test and include the Gen XP ATEX rated connector into Stran Technologies’s high performing fiber optic connector products.

Non-potted, field maintainable design allows for termini endface cleaning, re-polishing, and re-terminating
- Multiple plating/material options: Hard Anodized Aluminum, Nickel Plated Bronze and Passivated Stainless Type 316L
- Captive split alignment sleeves for enhance insertion loss performance and trouble-free operation after maintenance activities wherein alignment sleeves are frequently lost
